Film & Media Instructor

Arena Stage’s multi-arts summer day camp seeks a dynamic instructor to teach hands-on classes to ages 8 to 15 this summer. Positions in multiple disciplines available.

Instructor plans and teaches curriculum for four daily activities. Instructor also participates fully in camp events and acts as a group leader to a small group of campers.

Film & Media: Classes are hands-on not analysis/appreciation classes.

Camp Arena Stage encourages the spirited pursuit of knowledge, self-discovery and joy through the arts, while providing the young artists a creative and safe environment to grow as artists.

Time commitment

Seven weeks, full-time from June 18-June 22 (staff training) and June 25-August 4 (camp sessions)
Mondays – Fridays
8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

  • Experience working with young people; teaching experience within art form preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, outstanding undergraduates considered
  • Ability to plan and teach hands-on, age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity and skill building
